Just months after becoming an official partner of Virginia Sports Properties and becoming the Official NIL Collective of Virginia Athletics, CavFutures is kicking off the year with its first event of the season. The tailgate event, scheduled for 5:30pm September 22, will take place ahead of UVA Football’s matchup against NC State at Scott Stadium. It will be located off White Head Rd, behind the Aquatic center and feature a live DJ, games, buffet, and open bar for its attendees. The event space is coordinated by Virginia Sports Properties and demonstrates the continued value of CavFutures relationship with Virginia Athletics.

In addition to games, music, food and drinks, the CavClub Tailgate will also feature special guests including Men’s and Women’s Basketball players. The CavClub Tailgate promotions include raffles of signed memorabilia as seen on @cavfutures on Instagram and X. The raffle includes memorabilia from Football, Basketball and Baseball student athletes which CavClub members are automatically entered to win if they sign up before September 20^th, the date that the winners will be announced. Additionally, the first 50 members to sign up to CavClub Orange-level or above ahead of the game will receive two lower bowl tickets to the UVA vs. NC State Football game.

In order to receive free admission to the event, UVA fans should join CavClub at the Orange-level ($19.99 / month) or higher. The event is shaping up to be an exciting way for UVA fans to engage with UVA student-athletes and enjoy event perks like the buffet and open bar, all while supporting NIL efforts at the University of Virginia.
